What is the difference between a CPA and a Licensed Public Accountant?
All Licensed Public Accountants (LPAs) are CPAs but not all CPAs are LPAs. LPAs in Ontario are licensed to provide assurance services (financial statement audits and reviews) by the Public Accountants Council of Ontario. CPAs must meet the educational, study, practical experience, examination and other requirements in order to be granted a Public Accounting License. How much do you charge for personal tax preparation?
All of our services are billed based on the time necessary to complete the engagement. We can discuss with you the steps that you can take in advance in order to minimize our time and the resulting cost to you.
